INFORMATION MODEL OF DIAGNOSTIC HORIZONS OF SOILS BASED ON THE WRB CLASSIFICATION
A hierarchical information model for diagnosing soil horizons in the World Reference Base for Soil Resources (WRB) is constructed and analyzed. The main parameters of diagnostic soil horizons, which determine soil’s belonging to a reference soil group, are analyzed. Thus, the constructed information model of diagnostic horizons allows us to establish the connection between different national classifications with the World Reference Base for Soil Resources.
